Brett Rogers has been appointed Chief Development Officer of EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure, a wholesale data center developer, owner, and operator. His responsibilities will include developing EdgeCore’s end-to-end delivery capacity and assisting in the development of the company’s range of products.
Brett Rogers’ 25 years of experience in leading teams and implementing projects that have produced more than three gigawatts of vital infrastructure worldwide would guarantee that EdgeCore data center developments are completed on schedule, under budget, and to the highest possible levels of quality.
“The management team that EdgeCore has put in place, combined with the financial support from Partners Group, makes this such an exciting opportunity,” said Brett Rogers. “Our industry is entering a period of growth that is going to be challenging but also represents a significant opportunity. EdgeCore is poised to be a significant player, and I look forward to helping the company scale.”

Brett Rogers worked for a private equity firm for three years in a variety of roles, including CEO of the supply chain technology company KatalystDI and portfolio support for data center building and contracting firms. This was prior to Rogers joining EdgeCore. He headed Google’s design and construction division in the Americas from 2015 to 2021, growing the company from 200 MW to over a gigawatt yearly while serving in that role. When Rogers was employed by Tesla earlier in his career, he oversaw the creation of the first Gigafactory design and construction program.
“Brett joins EdgeCore at a critical juncture in our business’s development, and we anticipate the value his experience will bring towards realizing our objective of delivering high-density data centers,” said EdgeCore CEO Lee Kestler. “Brett has experience working on some of the biggest hyperscale development projects in the nation, so he has a special awareness of the subtleties involved in our clients’ needs.”
