Wasabi Debuts White Label OEM Program for Its Cloud Storage

WasabiThrough its White Label OEM program, cloud storage provider Wasabi Technologies has now made its cloud storage available to SaaS providers, Cloud Services Providers (CSPs), and technology application vendors – to integrate into their solutions for Backup, Disaster Recovery, Physical Security Video Surveillance Storage, Media Archiving, and more. This would allow these IT service providers to offer their end users around the globe scalable and reasonably priced cloud storage.

With no vendor lock-in and no fees for egress or API requests, Wasabi’s White Label OEM Program enables strategic partners to incorporate Wasabi hot cloud storage into their own solutions using their own intellectual property. They can also package and price the cloud storage as their own branded offering, offering enterprise-grade cloud storage that is secured and compliant. IT channel partners may set themselves apart from the competition by including cloud storage into their business models. This would also make purchasing easier for their clients, lower storage expenses, and enable simple cloud storage expansion, according to Wasabi.

“Our singular focus on cloud storage and partner-first go to market strategy has made Wasabi the most predictable and flexible cloud storage for OEM solutions,” said Mark Vella, Wasabi Technologies Vice President of Global Business Development. “When partners integrate with Wasabi, they can drive more revenue, maximize margins and deliver best-in-class solutions to customers that create real long-term value.”

Wasabi provides partners with a suite of “user-friendly” administration tools as part of the new White Label OEM program, allowing them to handle accounts and trademark their own products. Wasabi provides a REST-based API that is specifically designed to make provisioning and use monitoring simple. Wasabi Account Control Manager is a multi-tenant management platform that would make it simple for IT channel partners to take care of invoicing, reporting, and account management for their clients. Additionally, Wasabi Technologies provides its Custom Cloud Console, which enables channel partners to add their logo and other visual components to distinctively identify the user experience as their own.

Over 25 technology providers worldwide have worked with Wasabi already to include storage into their products, giving them integrated cloud storage options to offer their customers. Arcserve, Identiv, and Zenlayer are among the newly joined IT channel partners in Wasabi’s White Label OEM Program. As part of Wasabi’s vast network of over 14,000 partners and resellers, these companies are now able to provide Wasabi cloud storage solutions to their end customers.
