The debut of the Central Telemetry Platform has been announced by Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS), a global supplier of solutions for hyperscale and large business data centers worldwide. Customers are able to leverage real-time telemetry data to assist the management of their data center workloads thanks to the internationally accessible solution that was built under a cooperation with Protiviti, a worldwide consulting company and Microsoft Solutions Partner.
Customers of hyperscale cloud companies can now examine and control their data center operations, which gives them the ability to monitor the power consumption of their data centers, as well as the temperatures both inside and outside the data centers, and the amount of energy used for cooling.

Granular Analysis on Key Data Center Metrics
Enterprises and cloud service providers (CSPs) are able to take action on the insights by moving processing loads to locations where they are more cost-effective and maintaining equipment in a proactive manner. This would allow them to reap the benefits of increased efficiencies, reliability, cost savings, and also improving energy usage of sites in order to achieve sustainability goals.
Using an application programming interface (API), Colt DCS’s tool gathers data from the local area and consolidates it into a single platform. When clients reach this point, they have the ability to develop their own applications in order to continually access and analyze the insights.
