BT Debuts Zero Trust Cybersecurity Solutions Globally with Zscaler

BT Group OfficesWith the announcement of their expanded agreement, Zscaler and BT plan to make BT the first global service provider to provide a comprehensive range of managed security services based on the AI-powered Zero Trust Exchange cloud security platform from Zscaler. To help organizations become more flexible, efficient, robust, and secure, BT can provide its clients with a variety of innovative cybersecurity solutions that would simplify IT infrastructures and decrease their cyberattack surface.

Zscaler will also provide BT Group with security solutions as part of this partnership to safeguard BT’s own operations. This would help improve BT’s first-hand knowledge even further as they assist clients that want to use and adapt Zscaler Zero Trust technologies.

“As a result of the ongoing disruptions that digital advancements bring to the way businesses function, the danger landscape keeps growing,” said Tris Morgan, BT’s Managing Director, Security. “With Zscaler, we are thrilled to deepen our business partnership and expand our managed service portfolio. This will enable us to provide our clients with additional zero trust cybersecurity solutions and reassure them that we have their backs during their digital transformation.”

Zscaler for Users

BT’s Zscaler-powered managed Zero Trust cybersecurity services are intended to assist digital organizations with their efforts to reorganize their networks, security, and connectivity. It would enable safer connections between users, devices, and applications anywhere, allowing for increased business agility and decreased infrastructure complexity while safeguarding clients against cyberattacks and data loss.

Solutions delivered include Zscaler for Users, which is powered by the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange, containing the following technologies:

  • Internet Access – A secure web gateway (SWG) that provides cloud-native, artificial intelligence-powered cyber threat protection as well as zero trust access to the Internet and software as a service applications.
  • Private Access – A cloud-native service that provides users with quick and secured access to private applications and operational technology devices, while also enabling Zero Trust connectivity for workloads, and which replaces legacy remote access technologies such as virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and virtual private networks (VPNs).
  • Digital Experience – Allows for visibility into the entire path that the user takes to reach the application, which helps to identify performance issues. Because it is a component of the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange, ZDX makes it possible to establish connections that are both quick and secure from any location.

Approximately four hundred billion transactions are analyzed on a daily basis by the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform, which also extracts approximately five hundred trillion signals. In addition to providing visibility, access control, and data protection to organizational data at scale, it makes use of insights powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline the digital experience, lessen the likelihood of risk, and facilitate improved business decisions.
