Thoras.ai Secures $1.5M to Pioneer Intelligent Cloud Computing Management

DEVELOPERS - OFFICEUS tech startup Thoras.ai has concluded a pre-seed funding round, securing $1.5 million. This funding will support the accelerated product development of Thoras.ai’s platform, enhancing and fortifying enterprise cloud computing. The investment round was co-led by Storytime Capital and Focal VC, with participation from Hustle Fund, Precursor Ventures, the Pitch Fund, and strategic angel investors.

Thoras.ai was created by a team of experts with backgrounds in reliability engineering and machine learning. They came together to tackle the challenges that enterprises face when it comes to scaling their cloud workloads and effectively monitoring their services.

Nilo Rahmani, who has extensive software engineering experience at Slack and Goldman Sachs, and Jen Rahmani, a former software engineer for the DoD’s largest AI Surveillance program, recognized the need for a more advanced approach in maintaining cloud services. They understood that relying solely on intuition was inadequate for managing these critical and expensive assets for companies.

Thoras.ai strives to improve the reliability and efficiency of cloud services by using advanced algorithms that predict and optimize performance on a large scale. With its expertise in artificial intelligence, Thoras.ai has the ability to utilize machine learning to predict the requirements of cloud workloads and provide valuable suggestions to users on enhancing services and avoiding potential system failures. According to the company and its investors, Thoras’s proactive approach to scaling and monitoring workloads has proven to be highly effective in improving system uptime and reducing cloud costs by up to 50% compared to static policies.
