Palantir and Oracle Collaborate to Offer Enhanced AI and Cloud Services

Palantir speakerIn an effort to support governments and companies worldwide, Oracle and Palantir have established a collaboration to provide secured cloud and AI solutions. Combining Palantir’s AI and decision acceleration platforms with Oracle’s distributed cloud and AI infrastructure would enable businesses and governments to optimize the value of their data, boosting productivity, satisfying sovereignty obligations, and outpacing competitors.

Palantir has agreed to transfer Foundry workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The core of Palantir Foundry is the Foundry Ontology. It unifies your company’s semantic, kinetic, and dynamic components, enabling teams to coordinate and automate decision-making in intricate situations.

Palantir’s Gotham and AI Platforms will also be deployable in Oracle’s distributed cloud: in public cloud regions, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Dedicated Regions, Oracle Alloy, Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud, Oracle Government Cloud, and Oracle Roving Edge, and Oracle’s air-gapped regions for defense and intelligence customers.

More organizations would now be able to access Palantir’s platforms for data integration and decision-making thanks to Oracle‘s extensive cloud footprint and sovereign AI capabilities.

“Oracle is the only hyperscaler that can provide its whole AI and cloud suite to any business or government, anywhere in the world,” said Rand Waldron, Vice President at Oracle. “Palantir’s industry-leading data and artificial intelligence technologies, together with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s performance, scalability, and flexibility, will enable our clients to thrive in any setting or industry.”

Meeting Regulatory, Performance, and Security Needs

Josh Harris, Executive Vice-President of Palantir, stated that, “Oracle and Palantir are committed to safeguarding western institutions and interests globally. Our impact will grow and our global clients will benefit fully from cloud and artificial intelligence thanks to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure‘s unique ability to help customers meet their regulatory, performance, and security needs.”

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure delivers over 100 cloud services and applications, including the newest advancement in generative AI, on top of fast artificial intelligence infrastructure, in any area, including commercial, sovereign, and government air-gapped settings. To make planning, porting, and maintenance easier, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services and pricing are the same for all deployment options.

Through the Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), businesses can use the power of large language models (LLMs) for their core processes, private data, and corporate networks while maintaining the highest level of security and trust. The platform is intended to integrate disparate systems of action, logic assets, and data sources into a single common operational picture. Oracle’s AI strategy, which includes a broad network of partners, would offer generative AI services and infrastructure that enhance Palantir’s AI capabilities to assist clients in making decisions more quickly.
