Zerto, now a part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), has appointed Matt Boris as the Vice President of Global Go-to-Market.

Boris, who previously led Zerto sales in the Americas and Asia, will now be responsible for driving the company’s worldwide Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy.

This appointment would signify a major investment by HPE in Zerto, with the aim of doubling the size of the business within the next two years. Under Boris’ leadership, Zerto will focus on maximizing growth opportunities by expanding into new markets and strengthening its presence in EMEA and APAC regions, including Australia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.

In addition to his global responsibilities, Boris will also concentrate on aligning the company’s GTM strategy with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and channel partners. Zerto will play a crucial role in HPE GreenLake, its edge-to-cloud platform, and will expand its reach into Global System Integrators (GSI) through strategic alliances with Deloitte, HCL Tech, TCS, and Wipro.

Having worked in senior roles at Zerto for over six years, Boris is a firm believer in the company’s culture of internal promotion and the growth opportunities that arise from his expanded role.

“I am honored to lead our worldwide efforts, and I am excited to collaborate with the Zerto team to drive growth and expand our presence in new markets,” said Boris.

Gilles Thiebaut, Senior Vice President of Global Partner Sales and Business Development at HPE, expressed confidence in Boris’ leadership and his deep understanding of Zerto and its customers. Thiebaut believes that Boris’ drive for success will elevate the company to new heights, and he looks forward to the growth and success that lie ahead.

Zerto has also made additional appointments, with Ben Jenkins as Sales Director of Americas East and Sasha Acosta as Sales Director of Americas West. These roles are critical for the Zerto Americas business as it scales to meet customer demands in 2023 and beyond. Together with Boris, these roles will support Zerto’s global presence, focusing on new customer acquisition, growing existing accounts, and executing Zerto’s partner Go-to-Market strategy.

Zerto, now a part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, offers cloud data management and protection solutions that simplify the protection, recovery, and mobility of on-premises and cloud applications. Their software-only solution provides continuous data protection at scale, solving challenges related to ransomware resilience, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud mobility.
