Juniper Networks, a leader in secured AI-native networking, has introduced significant enhancements to its AI-Native Networking Platform, reinforcing its position as an innovator in secure branch connections and WAN routing. The latest updates to Juniper’s WAN Assurance, Premium Analytics, and Marvis Virtual Network Assistant (VNA) products incorporate advanced AI capabilities, delivering streamlined and secure SD-WAN and SASE experiences.
A standout in these enhancements would be the new Routing Assurance product, pioneering AI-native automation and insights for traditional edge routing topologies.
Juniper’s AI-Native Platform would be unique in its capacity to reduce operational expenses by up to 85% across the entire networking infrastructure. Leveraging AI for Networking, the platform would ensure assured SD-WAN experiences through proactive AIOps, and introduces Marvis Minis to SD-WAN. This digital experience twin solution diagnoses real authentication issues and continuously runs WAN speed tests to verify link speeds, taking proactive measures if problems are detected. With the launch of Marvis Minis, Juniper Networks claims to become the first supplier to offer a wired, wireless, and WAN network-wide all-AI-native digital experience that would foster outstanding end-to-end user experiences.
Enhancements would include new service level expectations (SLEs) for WAN edge health, link health, and application health, augmented with a WAN congestion SLE. This feature alerts operators when network interfaces are over-utilized, causing poor user experiences. Juniper’s unique streaming dynamic packet capture (dPCAP) solution now extends to WAN, capturing packets during incidents to quickly identify and resolve issues, avoiding costly site visits. Additionally, new application insights provide network operators with a visual representation of traffic across the SD-WAN, enabling better planning and problem-solving.
Juniper has also expanded its Premium Analytics product with a new security insights dashboard, enhancing visibility into security events and enabling quick, real-time threat response. This integrated dashboard promotes collaboration between networking and security teams, streamlining operational workflows and improving efficiency, agility, and cost savings.
Enterprise Edge Routing
The introduction of Routing Assurance brings Juniper’s enterprise edge routing platforms under the Mist AI and cloud umbrella. Juniper Mist Routing Assurance modernizes the WAN edge with customizable service levels that allow administrators to monitor, analyze, and resolve issues identified by Mist AI across WAN Edge and peering locations. This innovation applies to Juniper‘s edge MX and ACX routing products, including models like the MX204, MX304, and ACX7024.
Marvis, an AI-native VNA with a conversational interface, has been expanded to cover enterprise WAN edge routing. This conversational interface allows IT teams to use simple language queries to diagnose and resolve routing issues, supported by Generative AI-powered knowledge base queries.
