OVHcloud US Debuts Bare Metal Servers with AMD EPYC 4004 Series CPUs

The US entity of European cloud services provider OVHcloud, OVHcloud US, has released its new dedicated Bare Metal Advance servers that are equipped with the newest AMD EPYC 4004 Series processors. OVHcloud US presents the third generation of Advance dedicated servers, which have an updated high-performance private network that allows the company to develop not only at the CPU level but also at the network level.

ADV-Gen3 Bare Metal servers would provide the ideal performance to price ratio thanks to these advancements combined.

With their high performance, these third-generation Advance Bare Metal servers would empower a wide spectrum of customers, including SMB businesses looking to grow.

The new ADV-Gen3 Bare Metal servers would combine a powerful processor with an attractive performance-price ratio offered by OVHcloud. They take use of the highly regarded AMD ‘Zen 4’ micro-architecture, which offers up to 16 cores and 32 threads for intensive applications. Additionally, AMD EPYC 8224P processors power an ADV-5 model with 24 cores and 48 threads. ADV-Gen3 servers are appropriate for use cases including web hosting, SaaS or PaaS solutions, containerization, virtualization, databases, VDI, or storage and archiving for ADV-STOR. They are available in a range of configurations, from ADV-1 to ADV-5.

Unmetered 25 Gbps Bandwidth Available, Individual Network

The new ADV-Gen3 servers from OVHcloud offer up to 5 Gbps of unmetered private bandwidth in addition to 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps of dedicated, unmetered public bandwidth, and all the freedom, control, performance, and availability benefits of dedicated servers. In addition to ensuring predictable pricing, OVHcloud offers businesses the greatest support for their workloads, environments, and ad hoc technologies with this solution.

The new ADV-Gen3 servers from OVHcloud have a private network that was designed from the bottom up for redundancy, which further streamlines resilience. With two 25 Gbps lines, the private network would more effectively guarantee that crucial applications and their data are available so that company activities may go on as usual. Prior Advance servers had two 2×1 Gbps or 2×10 Gbps links.

Availability New Bare Metal Servers

In the upcoming weeks, OVHcloud ADV-Gen3 Bare Metal servers will be available for the data centers located in Limburg, Germany, Gravelines and Roubaix in France, and Vint Hill, Virginia in the United States. It should be available everywhere in the upcoming months.
